Expel "Cure the Gay" Quacks from Practicing Psychiatry!

In 1973, the American Psychiatric Association declared that “homosexuality is not a mental illness” yet all over the United States, members of the psychiatric profession are actually telling patients they can cure them of being gay. This is an abusive, fraudulent practice and the APA needs to revoke the licenses of anyone practicing any form of conversion or so-called cures for gay patients!

All over the world, countries are cracking down on psychotherapy clinics that promise they can change a person’s sexual orientation. Many patients have reported being tortured and abused in these clinics. One of the countries putting a stop to this malpractice is Britain. In fact, the British Association of Counseling and Psychotherapy (BACP) have already started revoking the licenses of these quacks, and the United States should quickly follow their lead.

Tell the American Psychiatric Association to end the dangerous practice of "doctors" who attempt to cure homosexuality as an illness.
