The newly announced price increase by Games Workshop Plc, along with their decision to boycott independent resellers from selling outside the EU is one of the most draconian business moves ever seen by hobbyists who are sadly already used to over inflated prices and a company that seems light years away from recognising the needs of it's real, permanent customer base.
This petition has been created so those of us whom this affects can speak with one voice to the bigwigs in the Ivory Citadel so they can hear our frustrations at being priced out of a hobby that we all dearly love.
We the undersigned, object to your pricing structures as announced May 2011. You are pricing your customer base out of your own market and creating a business model that fans of your products cannot afford to sustain for you.
We believe we deserve to be treated more fairly than we have been, after all, you depend on a far smaller number of us than does the average Plc and we can guarantee that we care more about you than an average Plc's consumer base.
The recent announcements and moves have frustrated, angered, annoyed and dismayed us in equal measure & we believe it is time that you, answer for what you are doing to our hobby, strangling it with greed rather than nurturing it.
