Deny Construction of a Plasma Gasification Plant

FOR ANY RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES IN THE AREA OF NEW ORLEANS, ST.BERNARD AND OTHER PARISHES IN THE AREA!!

Sun Energy LLC wants to build a Plasma Gasification Plant that will burn solid municipality waste into a gas. This would have negative impact to the environment as well as residents and businesses in New Orleans East. The plant will bring 4,000 (8000000  pounds) Tons of solid waster each day from 9 Parishes  to be burned, that will include almost 300 dump trucks in and out of New Orleans East. New Orleans East is still growing and we do not need a dump area to build withing our community. Imagine the negative output it will send when people want to come visit New Orleans East, move back to New Orleans East or bringing businesses back. The petition will deny access to any construction and future of this plant in New Orleans.
