Hold Federal Elections on Weekends

Whereas, the Constitution of the United States proclaims that all elections for the President of the United States, the Vice-President of the United States, and all members of Congress be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November,

And, whereas, many citizens are unable to vote on that day on account of their jobs and classes in school; therefore,

We, the undersigned, hereby request that Congress pass an amendment to the Constitution of the United States that all future federal elections be held on the first Saturday and Sunday after the first Monday in November.
