Mississippi Delta Community College has a variety of clubs with something to interest just about everyone. Some are Social and Scholarship oriented, while others are based on certain degree programs. Unfortunately, there aren%u2019t any clubs which support the Fine and Performing Arts Departments. Therefore, We the students of Mississippi Delta Community College, with emphasis in the Music and other Fine and Performing Arts wish to exercise our voices to be heard by presenting this undersigned petition.
Dear Dr. Rice, governing bodies, alumni, and faculty concerned:
Mississippi Delta Community College has a variety of clubs & organizations with something to interest just about everyone. Some are Social and Scholarship oriented, while others are based on certain degree programs. The following clubs are an active part of campus life at MDCC:
Phi Beta Lambda, Skills USA (VICA), Student Government Association (SGA), Delta Connection, Phi Theta Kappa, National Technical Honor Society, Leadership Class, BSU Christian Student Center and%u2026

Unfortunately, there aren%u2019t any clubs which support the Fine and Performing Arts Departments. Therefore, We the students of Mississippi Delta Community College, with emphasis in the Music and other Fine and Performing Arts wish to exercise our voices to be heard by presenting this undersigned petition to unite us as artists, for the creation of a fraternal organization here within the five campus of MISSISSIPPI DELTA COMMUNITY COLLEGE.
We feel that there is a need to fraternize, socialize, and fellowship with our brothers and sisters of similar interests, in a chartered and organized method. We are prepared to govern ourselves respectively and accordingly under the direct supervision and authority of the Student Services Department, the Dean of Student Affairs, The President of MDCC, our sponsors, and all other authority bodies of MDCC. We are also prepared to recognize and encourage the academic achievement, requirements, and development of two-year college students by utilizing leadership, participation in honors, service, fellowship, community involvement, and discipline to our respected degree programs. Lastly, we will continue to uphold and be dedicated to the mission and goals of MDCC.
