Stop target practice on animals

that poor dog i cant even emagin the pain.Why some people would do this to there pet is beond me.I have two dogs and my whole family spoils them rotten.This happpens at least 100 times each year,Just try to imagin your dog getting lost and someone tapping its legs and shooting it.Then they have the nerve to bring it into a shealter and dropp it off.What i would like to do is anyone who does this should be put in jail for the rest of there life.there has been other animals practiced on other then dogs.There have been geese shot with arrows and then left to die.I would like to have 450,000 signatures so that i can show it to the president and then it could become even stricter.Thank you if you are sighning this petition.I hope that some day animals willl be treated like people and not  be used for violence
