This needless slaughter has to be stopped, or else the orangutan population will follow that of the tiger – maybe 3000 at most left in the wild. Right now, there is NOTHING to stop this from happening.

Dear Mr. President,
I am wondering why you permit this genocide to continue? Why?
Even if you don’t care, people (me included) whose money is given to Indonesia in the form of ‘Aid’, do care about orangutans and we are angry. We want the ‘Aid’ stopped until the killing of orangutans stops, which is why along with thousands of other people I am sending this same email to those who so disgracefully reward Indonesia with our money for its mass deforestation and orangutan genocide. What is more, I will send the same email repeatedly - until the killing is stopped.
