Tell Racist Montana Judge to Resign
It's not just your unemployed crackpot brother-in-law who is circulating the hate mail anymore. Recently, Montana Chief Federal Judge Richard Cebull admitted to forwarding a racist email that accuses President Barack Obama's mother of promiscuity and bestiality.
The email quips "A little boy said to his mother 'Mommy, how come I'm black and you're white? His mother replied, 'Don't even go there Barack! From what I can remember about that party, you're lucky you don't bark!"
According to a recent article in the Huffington Post, Cebull sent this lovely missive along to his friends with the personal message "Hope it touches your heart like it did mine." The email then got forwarded on to other friends in the usual viral manner. Tell Judge Cebull that it is his responsibility to behave like a role model. He has no excuse for promoting irrational prejudice against America's Commander-in-Chief and that he should resign.
We the undersigned can not find any excuse for your behavior in forwarding a really ugly and hateful email designed to suggest (strongly) that the US President is illegitimate and that his mother was promiscuous and even capable of sex with animals. Such emails can hardly be considered a private matter when they are so freely forwarded to entire email lists--often without any regard for the sensitivities of the recipients. You have participated in making an inflammatory and libelous accusation go viral. You should resign your position effective immediately.
