Shore Road Promenade Bicycle Lane Extention

I am creating a petition to extend the bicycle lanes on the Shore Road Promenade the extends from the American Veterans Memorial Pier (69th Street Pier) up to Caesars Bay. For Pedestrians: Where there is no bicycle lane, cyclists are often weaving in and out of pedestrians walking on either side of the promenade. This poses a serious safety issue as pedestrians aren't always aware - even when notified with shouts of ON YOUR RIGHT and ON YOUR LEFT

For cyclists: Not having designated lanes poses a serious concern for safety that they present on the walking paths of the Shore Road Promenade. It is not fair for cyclists to physically stop their workout because they are dodging pedestrians walking in the same direction on both sides of the Shore Road Promenade.
