Family Value
For years I have heard about family value from the Bush Administration keep the family together what a joke that is a lie, this is how they keep family's together when a wife and Husband are disabled Social Security's family value is seperate or we take your medical and your benefits away from you they have real family value, what right does Social Security have to tell someone when they have been married for 40 years to seperate or get a divorce and you can keep your benefits, who made them God and then you go to a Social Security office and they treat you like you are trash just because you are disabled, so President Obama you talk about change why don't you change the law so family's can stay together instead of forcing them to seperate or get a divorce.
I have been married for 40 years I have three sons and six grandchildern, my Husband and I are both 100% disabled my husband was run over by a women twenty five years ago his spine was crushed I have became disabled 5 years ago, my husband gets a little SSI Check and a Social Security check the total is $700.00 a month and that does not even pay his rent, he lives with my Mother who is 83 years old and I come over during the day to take care of them both, and when my Mother dies my husband will be homeless, how is this fare my husband can hardly dress him self, and we have to be seperate, so please change the law so family's can stay together, we are surpose to grow old together not live in different housings, thank you for taking the time to read this letter
