Stop the Land Grabbing in Banjul

The Gambia government has abruptly decided within a matter of days to relocate the only lower basic school left in our Afdie Community of Banjul. Our concern is that the children attending the Nursery School age 4 to 6 are so vulnerable to travel from Banjul South(Afdie) to the far north of Banjul. If this decision is not reconsidered by Central government, the worse scenario would be the early dropping out of younger children from the Nursery School, as parents will not be able to afford travel expenses, and as well as to escort them to and from the school on a daily basis.
