Demand humane and civilized law for stay animals

Serbian Ministry of Agriculture is preparing a law regarding the treatment of stray dogs: it is suggested to kill the animals if they are not homed within 14 days of capture. Instead of treating the causes that make animals homeless and developing humane approaches to the problem (such as more efficient sterilization, shelters, homing alternatives etc.) they want to legalize massive animal slaughter. This does not reflect the attitude towards animals and day care that Serbian people actively show towards stray animals. By signing this petition we want to show the politicians ind decision makers that this is not acceptable in a civilized society and make pressure in order for this draft law not to be verified.
