Congressional Inquiry DOS VISA Process

I am an natural born American and combat veteran. I met the most wonderful woman who i want to be my wife. She is from Vietnam. I have been dealing with the worst process with the Department of State, IE. the American Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam for over 15 months trying to get her VISA to come be my wife. The process is so bad and assumes you are Guilty of fraud from the start. One individual reviewing the case and a short interview with my fiancee determines if I will be able to marry her and live with her in the US.  Then the constant stalling, request for non related information,  and no reasonable status of information from the consulate. This is wrong and goes against our basic rights of life, liberty and pursuit of Happiness.  All of which I and countless others have fought for. I need your help iin getting congress to inquire into my case (HCM 2006-691-017) and the process.  I believe this bad process is also a major cause of Illegal immigration.  Please help a fellow American get action so I can have fullment of my constitutional right and live a happy life, and that others will not suffer the same fate.

I thank you in advance for you support.

We the Undersigned:

Humbly request your immediate inquiry into the DOS Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam specific to Case Number HCM 2006-691-017. We feel a full investigation is warranted, as we believe that they have not followed process.

Second we request a full inquiry into the legislation and process for Immigrant fiancée VISA process at the Department of State.

1.   We feel American Citizen basic rights are being violated.

2.   That the process is not being followed as defined by legislation.

3.   That the legislation is flawed as follows.

a.   Relies solely on the Embassy to make a decision without strict guidelines on what is acceptable evidence.

b.   Relies too heavily on a single individual to make a decision affecting another citizen rights and freedom of choice.

c.    The process is poorly defined and is not equitable for either the Petitioner or beneficiary.  Note: This is for both the immigrant and non immigrant process.

d.   Non US citizens play a critical role in determining the eligibility of an American Citizen, which clearly is not acceptable.

Thank you for your support
