May 20, 2008 To Whom It May Concern Hello, my name is Naeem Callaway and I am the Executive Director of the Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Family Support Organization. The CGSFSO is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to serving the families of our community. Our Organization provides support, education, and advocacy for families who have children with emotional, behaviorally, and mental challenges. Raising children with these types of challenges can be difficult. Many parents feel alone, and many parents feel they don’t have the time or the resources to help their children navigate through the challenges they face. What makes our organization unique is that all of the staff at our organization have children with these types of challenges. Therefore, we can relate, understand, and offer unique advice and support because we are in the trenches with them. We strive to meet the immediate and long term needs of the families who want assistance and support. It is our hope to help provide information and support through presentations, meetings, support groups, and counseling. To achieve these goals, we need your help. We want the State of New Jersey to know that we are helping children, that we are making a difference.
