In the slaughterhouses of McDonald's U.S. chicken suppliers, birds are dumped out of their transport crates and hung upside-down in metal shackles, which can result in broken bones, extreme bruising, and hemorrhaging. Workers have the opportunity to abuse live birds, and birds have theirthroats cut while they are still conscious. Many birds are immersed in tanks of scalding-hot water while they are still alive and able to feel pain.
In 2000, following the launch of PETA's (original) McCruelty campaign, McDonald's made some basic animal welfare improvements. Since that time, the company has refused to eliminate the worst abuses that its chickens suffer in the U.S., including abuses during slaughter. This cruelty would be illegal if dogs or cats%u2014or even pigs or cows%u2014were the victims.
There is a less cruel method of slaughter available today that would eliminate these abuses, yet McDonald's refuses to require its U.S. suppliers to switch to this method.

Is this a pretty sight? It's not.Please pledge to never eat another mcchiken sandwich or anything from mcdonalds until they stop the cruelty.It's a hate crime on chickens if anything.
Dear Mcdonalds food chains
I was shocked to diiscover that the chickens your resturants use in there food where tortured and slaughtered in cruel ways.I ask you what is the point of the cruelty? Does it make you feel good? Do you enjoy the torture and suffering of one of Gods living creatures?Or perhaps it's the sound the chickens make when there being boiled alive or there bones are broken while alive.Whatever it is,I pledge not to eat any of the food your resturants offer,and I am going to spread the word and urge my many friend and family not to eat at your resturants any more.There are more humane methods available for the chickens,but you refuse and for reasons i do not understand.I urge you to switch to a better method before people get sick or worse die.It's a hate crime to chickens and it's something that no good person would ever do.
