Prevent the Creation of a Private Nuissance on Broadview Blvd.

Since the opening of Sheetz and Burger King on Freeport road, the residents of Broadview Blvd. have suffered many noise and light disturbances that have lead to a lack of enjoyment of private property and greater risk to damage of personal property by foot traffic. To allow the businesses to operate and minimize the impact to residents, this petition is submitted to aforementioned businesses to limit their clientele to drive-through, only, after 10:00 PM Eastern Standard time Monday through Friday. Sheetz drive-through clientele would include their gas pumps. The residents of Broadview Blvd. also request that measures be taken to limit light pollution. Burger King is requested to turn off their lights, other than that required for security, during hours when the establishment is closed. Light blocking measures, shrubbery or a wall, are requested of Sheetz to minimize light pollution to neighbors.
