i go to one of the many schools in FSD1. We are tired of of having to be sent home or having to change our shorts for being "too short" Our shorts are supposed to be finger tip length but, in south carolina the heat can reach anywhere from the 80s to the upper 90s, even into the 100's. We simply just want to be able to wear norts. Nike Atheltic shorts are nothing more than that. They aren't showing off anyone's curves or attracting attention. These Girls consistently get punished and have to follow so many codes because We're "distracting" We just want to wake up, roll out of bed and wear norts and a tshirt. Our school spends more time condemning girls than actually focusing on the safety and well being of the students. We need to fix this. If you support the Norts, please sign this petition!
