Save “THE OLD SWEET” - pure & healing waters

Sweet Springs Resort Park Foundation Inc., is one of the most historic landmarks in the United States. (1) Thomas Jefferson designed the current hotel, (2) the drinking water has 4 times been named the “purest unfiltered drinking water” in the world, (3) the warm water healing pool started settlement of the area (Trans Allegheny Indians had been using for unknown years), (4) 8 of the first 10 Presidents stayed here as did many “famous” people of the times, (5) and much more.
For the restoration we MUST HAVE the Andrew S. Rowan farm, as the West Virginia Department of Agriculture was told when purchased so WVDA leased the farm to The Park.
Within 2 weeks of the new Commissioner taking office in 2017, he has been trying to break the lease.
Without the farm - this project is over and the history of this entire region (since 1754) will be destroyed.
