In 1957 Irish Jack Murphy won the first International Classic at Oswego Speedway! Irish ☘️ Jack won many races in his career which spanned from the 1950's to the 1970's! He raced stock cars right up to the exotic Supermodifieds! After retirement from racing Jack sold fuel at the track for many years! Jack was a polarizing figure among drivers, crews, and fans with his unique outgoing personality. Irish ☘️ Jack is a legend of motor sports and should be remembered forever with his own street along side Shampine, Swift, and the Caruso Bros on Albany Street in Oswego! Irish Jack Murphy Alley ☘️ will be a fitting tribute to a racing legend!
