Raise the age of sexual consent!

So many young people are having there innocence stolen from them very young age. Did you know that the age of sexual consent in Canada is 16 years old. That means a 40-year-old can legally have sex with a young person in only grade 10. There is such a huge problem in the world and Canada is not exempt. This absolutely need to change. If a child is not old enough to drink alcohol for smoke a cigarette they should not be old enough to consent to sexual activities. A 16-year-old is not ready to make a decision that will change their life forever. Most of us understand and except that is morally wrong to engage in such activity with someone at age, however there are many people who Have no morels and do it just because it's legal. So many of these girls are becoming pregnant and Many times their children are taken into custody and jump around in the system for 18 years. Sign this petition today in hope that the leaders of this country will change these laws and pretect the innocence of our future generations.
