If you're a Georgia fan, you know it's time to fire Willie Martinez. A once proud defensive team has now been relegated to a WAC team. How can a team have so much talent and be so poor? Either every recruiting service in America is dead wrong, and has been for five years, or we aren't coaching 'em up.
It's time for a change. Lets push CMR & Co. to make wholesale changes, starting on D.
We play in the SEC, folks. Not the PAC 10. Not the WAC. We actually play defense. I am sure Erk Russell is rolling over in his grave right now watching this pathetic, poorly coached, uninspired defense.

UGA has recruited 35 4 or 5 star guys on defense since 2005.
The Bulldogs rank 75th in total defense (377ypg), 100th in scoring defense (30.67 points per game) and 97th in pass defense through six games (UT just pounded us 45-19) thus far in 2009. We are ranked dead last in the entire nation in turnover margin! And we are dead last in the entire nation (118 teams) in fumbles recovered, with ONE.
Look, I am sure Willie's a great guy. But, we are not paying him to be a great guy that is well liked. Nick Saban is a prick, but the people in Alabama love him. Willie is being paid to coach up the defense. Well, he's not doing it. I know if I didn't cut it in my job, I'd get fired. That's just the way it is.
