Since Donald Trump was elected president, the primary daily action is usually anti-Trump. So, I usually do the second daily action, which is not Trump related. But today, both daily actions are anti-Trump. I know that Care2 is primarily anti-Trump, but I have seen a few Trump supporters on the website. Please offer at least one daily action that isn't anti-Trump, so the Trump supporters can participate in the daily action, too.
And I know I will probably get lots of anti-Trump comments on this petition, but I really worry about the national debt, and I'm actually relieved to see a President that is making an effort to balancing spending increases with budget cuts (one of today's daily actions was to read through 8 of the federal programs that would be cut). I have been unhappy with both Republicans and Democrats increasing the national debt, so I welcome fiscal responsibility at the federal level. And I did read through all 8 programs and I don't think all of the programs listed actually need federal dollars to survive. What I know is this:
If we don't make an attempt to balance our federal budget within the next 10-20 years, the interest on our debt will become so large that it will overtake all 8 of the programs listed and many more. And under these circumstances, we will be forced to cut these programs. The choice is clear: Voluntary pain now, or forced pain later.
