With the paving of Kelly Canyon Road from Bridger Drive to the Frontage Road, traffic, both vehicle and bicycle, have increased considerably as have speeds of vehicles. Given the topography the road crosses, the various points of reduced visibility, hidden driveways, and distracting views, etc. it is prudent to have a posted speed limit.
Dear Commissioners: With the paving of Kelly Canyon Road from Bridger Drive to the Frontage Road, traffic, both vehicle and bicycle, have increased considerably as have speeds of vehicles. Given the topography the road crosses, the various points of reduced visibility, hidden driveways, and distracting views, etc. it is in the interests of public safety to have a posted speed limit. This petition is signed by residents on Kelly Canyon Road, local motor vehicle users of same, bicyclists, walkers, joggers.

Hello Kelly Canyon Road Speed Limit Petition Signers.

The County Commissioners will be discussing the speed limit on Kelly Canyon Road in tomorrow's meeting and also a meeting on Dec. 27. I will plan to attend the meeting tomorrow and find out what kind of additional input citizens are allowed.
