NO DCCC Endorsements of Candidates Accepting NRA Contributions

Dear Congressman Lujan,
We are writing to request that the DCCC withhold its endorsement and support of candidates receiving funds from the National Rifle Association.
The recent Parkland High School shootings have cast a very different light on the NRA's agenda one which at one time might have been viewed as a legitimate defense of constitutional rights but is now seen as dangerously extremist.
As you know, this would implicate only a small minority of Democratic candidates, the overwhelming majority of NRA donations going to Republicans.
Democrats should use this opportunity to define themselves by firmly and unapolegitically standing up for sensible gun regulations and in strong opposition to the organization which, by rejecting them, poses a serious threat to public health and safety.
