Safety on Sycamore Avenue

If you would like to see a safer neighborhood around the Makada Home Owner's Association or in and around the new Trueblood Recreation Area.

The current speed limit along Sycamore Avenue SE in Johnson County, Iowa is 55 mph.  With the increase in traffic, housing development and recreational activities, we feel it is necessary to lower this for the safety of all who utilize this section of road.  We need to add a stop sign where Sycamore makes a 90 degree bend and lower the speed limit to 35 mph.
