DUI Programs help no one!

Rules DUI programs have are a bit out of line. Crime of driving under the influence was made. Punishment of such crime is acceptable. However these programs rules and 21 one day rule are nothing but a headache to those enrolled. The program is already getting paid big dollars. Now many would say well driving under the influence was your choice therfore you need to suck it up. When a person who has made a mistake and tries to do as much as they could to complete their sentence yet fails. What happens? More punishment. I think thaf if a person pays for a program and they are making on time payments they shouldn't be told to attend class within the 21 one day rule. Or if a person who has a ill child at home and has to leave and get no credit for making the effort to class. The state forgets people have lives. People have kids responsibilities. Im not going against these programs,but some of their rules are beyond harsh. The state needs to reevaluate the programs and make some exceptions to their rules. For example, if your on time they close the door? Come on. Again, Im not going against DUI drivers, trust me I think ever one should be able to attend and get more education in regards to what happens. Their rules shouldnt be so strict and they shouldnt penalized people for having issues or missing a couple of classes. In the end the person has paid for their program. It takes more time reenrolling and reinstating then what the person completes. Its a joke. This may not get very far,but I know people who have struggled to complete due to their rules.
