Dolly Magazine - Help young girls use their hearts, not their looks!
Australia's Dolly Magazine is one of the most popular young teen's magazine's running today. However it focuses primarily on ads for products testing on animals, articles solely based on what will make a young girl look 'hot', how to 'be a better kisser', celebrity gossip, and has literally nothing substantial for any growing woman to look up to and learn from.
I urge you to sign this petition, get a word out to Dolly, and ask that they make a positive change; and educate young teens on real life issues.
Dear Dolly,
I would like you to consider a few changes to your magazine, for the better of young teens.
You base your articles solely on makeup, (products tested on animals aswell), celebrity gossip which promotes rumours and gossiping within schools, bad role models, vanity and looks and literally
nothing about causes that will help to educate and teach your readers to grow in a positive way.
Some of those causes can be anything from
animal cruelty, abuse, family issues and divorce, culture and diversity, smoking and drugs, global warming, environmental issues etc.
You seem to be less interested in helping teenagers in Australia grow up to create a positive impact apon others than you are on how to '
be an A Kisser'.
Please consider a few changes, help our world be a positive, helpful one and not left in the dark!
