Let us do all we can to save the Principe Thrush

The Príncipe Thrush is native to Sao Tomé and Principe, it can be distinctive from other thrush species by olive-brown from its head below eye to its tail. The head is slightly darker chin and throat dusky buff with whitish streaks, under wing coverts pale orange against creamy, it was firstly discovered in 1901. In 1920 it is thought to be extincted till  it was rediscovered in 1997 when it was sighted in the center and south forests of the island. Its population is less than 250 mature individual's so it is classified as Critically Endangered according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

Threats  varies between deforestation ,the suffering of mortality through opportunistic hunting, and human disturbance which leads to the disappearing of the Príncipe Thrush from areas of forests.
