Choice In Medical Care

Virtually all of the major drug companies that existed prior to prohibition had many drugs that contained Cannabis. Science around the world has established it's medical value. The laws against it were passed based on false information.
It's time we stood up for medical right of choice.
Whereas virtually every major drug company recognized the medical value of cannabis prior to the prohibition of marijuana and
Whereas the main ploy used to make and keep it classified as a dangerous drug was clearly racist and
Whereas the science outweighs the prejudice, and people are getting relief from maladies that the medical community cannot reproduce
We petition the government of the United States Of America cease using the so-called 'commerce clause' to justify restricting medical research and medical use of marijuana; and to legalize the use of 'marijuana' for medical purposes as it was prior to it's prohibition.
