The American people are fed up with the rule of Big Oil.
Big Oil buys the politicians we elect with bribes and “contributions” to political campaigns, Big Oil threatens to destroy the economy if they do not get their way, and Big Oil constantly manipulates the price of gasoline using a series of specious excuses to do so.
Even if an American does not drive, they pay the cost of this price gouging that runs rampant all across the face of our country because so much of our commerce is tied to the oil needed to manufacture and transport goods of every sort.
If you complain about the price of a loaf of bread some wag will ask, “Have you seen the price of a gallon of gas lately?”
On top of their ability to raise prices as they see fit, American politicians continue to give Big Oil massive tax breaks of their billion dollars of profits. Meanwhile, many real Americans are left to decide if they will feed their kids or feed their car so they can get to their jobs.
Well enough is enough. If a politician wants to work for Big Oil, they can do it AFTER they are out of office.
This petition represents the voice of real Americans everywhere regardless of race, color, creed, sexual orientation, or political party because no matter who you are, you are ruled by Big Oil as long as they own the political system.
By signing this petition, you will be telling politicians everywhere in the United States that if they do not stop listening to Big Oil instead of listening to you and your concerns, they will find themselves in need of a job.
Tell them that it is time to regulate Big Oil in the same manner other needed utilities are regulated.
It is time to take back America from the Big Oil Barons who now rule it.
