Demand Amish pay road tax

We as Americans pay taxes on everything. Our food, property, schools, many more. But claim a religion and you’re tax exempt? Let’s talk about one main concern. Horse and buggy’s on our roads. Several issues arise from this. 1. Horse manure that never gets cleaned up. 2. The buggies themselves, impede traffic. 3. They don’t pay taxes on the roads!!! But we have too!!! We say if you want to use your horse and buggy on the roads, fine, create a sidewalk for them, and pay taxes just like anyone else! Not to mention whatever vehicle we drive has to be licensed and registered and in some states property taxes are to be paid yearly on them. Horse and buggy’s do not!! Why? It’s a vehicle, a mode of transportation? These hypocritical laws need changed!! Laws are put in place to be fair to everyone!!! Not just exempt those who “claim” independence and religion.
