Demand Florida lawmakers to get serious about handicap parking violators

Handicap parking violators are an epidemic in Ocala Fl.
Florida Statute 320.0848 is the law but sadly, it is not enforced. As a disabled person it is frustrating to see able-bodied individuals abusing the handicap spaces. F150 trucks with pressure washers and ladders, twenty year olds with a SUV full of kids. Laziness or being in a hurry is not a disability  This has got to stop. It's an injustice that these individuals have no respect or regard for persons with real disabilities. It should be illegal to purchase DP parking placard online. Stand up for what's right. Speak up, speak out.
