Exception to Academic Policy

I received a WU grade in MATH 122, that which I had previously taken during the summer of 2012 at Compton College. My academic advisor, Alysa Campos, told me that in order to meet the academic requirement deadline for engineering majors I had to take the math class during the summer. I believe you should sign this petition for the following reasons:

•        I took the course equivalent at Compton College and received an A.
•        I am currently behind in units towards my Electrical Engineering major, and I do not need any more obstacles to slow or hinder my graduation progress
•        Receiving a WU drastically decreased my overall GPA.
•        I believe it does not make sense for me to receive a WU grade in a course that which I have previously demonstrated exceptional knowledge.
