Ban Declawing in Canada!

Declawing is not only unnecessary mutilation, but it is inhumane. There are many other solutions to behavioral scratching problems, such as Soft Claws and scratching posts. Declawing (onychectomy) is a painful procedure that not only causes your cat extreme suffering, but it can lead to problems such as severe arthritis later in their life, as well. Declawing is banned in several countries and it should be banned here in Canada too!
