Put safe rooms in classrooms!

School shootings are becoming an increasingly real and heartbreaking threat. Although it would be a large expense for our country initially, the expense is nothing compared to the cost of even one child losing their life due to gun violence at their school where they should feel safe and comfortable to learn. There are several companies offering “safe room” products that can last for generations to come and we need them in our classrooms! Many of these products also offer protection against storms and adverse weather. Please help me tell the government and school officials THIS is the conversation we all need to be having and let’s work together to make our kids schools safer! This is very possible through government grants and fundraising and I can think of nothing more important than doing everything we can to keep our children safe!
