In the city of St. Ann, Mo. there is a street that runs from St. Charles Rock Road to the Airport.
It's called Wright Ave. this street was built with no sidewalks. Over the years many people are walking vs driving to and from their homes, apartments, even to and from thier jobs in the airport area and back & forth from the ABC Ballpark to and from the Quik Trip for groceries and convience items because it's the nearest place within a 2 mile radius to get what they may need in between shopping visits or just to grab a quick drink before a softball, baseball or soccer game at the ballpark.
This influx of walkers plus the ones who just walk for their health or would like to but don't due to not having a sidewalk for safety. Creates safety issues on this road that is so frequently traveled since it leads to and from the Airport for the city. It is the quickest route from the east side of St. Ann for our Police Department to get to the highway as well, thus putting walkers in danger when there is an emergency situation on the highway for them to get to.
Please consider taking a moment of your time to make St. Ann a safer place for the residents and drivers using this major road in St. Ann. Vote YES you would like to see sidewalks put in on Wright Ave from St. Charles Rock Road to the end of the Cities property line leading to the Airport on Pear Tree.
