Thank California for fighting back against Texas Redistricting and Election Rigging

Republicans in Texas are trying again to rig the vote — pushing wildly gerrymandered districts that basically make House elections irrelevant, fly in the face of voting rights, and lock in GOP control of the US House, even if most Americans don't want it. 

But California is fighting back -- and fighting fire with fire.

California leaders are pushing their own changes in response, creating districts that will favor Democrats and offset the Texas changes if Texas moves ahead with them.

This is how we win -- fighting back hard, smart, and to win.

When Republicans try to rig the rules, we need Democrats — and democratic states — to rise up and say NO. We thank California, and urge other states to follow its lead.
