Iowa Board of Pharmacy to setup medical marijuana program!

* Iowa Board of Pharmacy to setup medical marijuana program!
* Law makers are asking the Iowa Board of Pharmacy to set up a medical marijuana program. The legislature has dropped its plans to have a committee study the issue of legalization and believes it is the responsibility of the Iowa Board of Pharmacy to do this. 
* The Iowa Board of Pharmacy thinks this is unrealistic, and neither the legislation or the Iowa Board of Pharmacy are taking the next step. The Iowa Board of Pharmacy says that they can not take the place of elected officials that are to decide what is best for Iowan's. 
* Since the Iowa Board of Pharmacy backed the legalization of marijuana for medicinal use in Iowa many people have been waiting in anticipation for the next step, to no avail.
* A law written years ago shows that it is up to the Iowa Board of Pharmacy to decide if marijuana should be used for medicinal purposes and since they said yes but do not wish to follow through and legislation will not follow through... and while we are waiting to see if legislation will decide if the Iowa Board of Pharmacy has a legal responsibility to follow through or not please join me in petitioning the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.
