A Riccione stanno costruendo il TRC (Trasporto Rapido Costiero un mezzo su gomma e a gasolio che corre tra due muri di cemento per percorrere 9,8Km), ma per portarlo a compimento vogliono abbattere oltre 200 pini. Hanno già iniziato a sfrondare 5 chiome all'interno delle quali sono stati trovati dei nidi freschi. Durante il periodo di nidificazione è proibito abbattere qualsiasi tipo di albero sia questo protetto o meno. Da tempo a Riccione è presente un folto gruppo di persone, sostenute dal Sindaco neo-eletto, che si battono per impedire questo massacro, perchè è proprio di questo che si tratta! Abbattere 200 alberi equivale ad uccidere gli animali che in essi vi abitano, e tutto questo per la costruzione di un'opera inutile, obsoleta ed estremamente costosa.
