Petition for Traffic Light at Wilson & Clyde
PLEASE READ!!!!
Hi Everyone,
I am writing you because I am putting together this petition to get a new traffic light crosswalk installed between the intersections of Wilson Ave. & Clyde and Wilson Ave. & Allard. They are the intersections across the street from Temple Sinai. Many of you live in the community south of Wilson/Temple and even for you who don't, please take a minute to read and sign this petition. It will be sent to the city councillor for our district, Karen Stintz. I encourage all of you to also write your own letters ASAP, which can be emailed to;

We the Undersigned are writing this letter to request a much-needed traffic light crosswalk between the intersections of Clyde & Wilson Ave and Allard & Wilson Ave. There is no traffic light for a very long distance between Bathurst and Ridley/Kelso along Wilson and there is no SAFE way to cross Wilson Ave.
Temple Sinai Synagogue (located on the North side of Wilson just East of Clyde) is:
- A place of worship to many people in and around the community.
Many parents and Nannies J-walking across Wilson with and without babies & children everyday. We are writing this letter to you now before something terrible happens. Why should we wait for a tragedy to occur.
TTC bus stops are located at:
- Clyde & Wilson on the North and South Sides
- Allard & Wilson on the North & South sides
There is no safe way to get to those bus stops.
There needs to be immediate action taken to have a new traffic light crosswalk installed between the intersections of Wilson & Clyde and Wilson & Allard before that intersection becomes a statistic.
