Practically any product we buy is animal tested.

Animal testing-it has gotten way out of hand, almost every cosmetic product (shampoos,conditioners,makeups,sunscreen,hairspray,nail polish,soap,etc.) is now animal tested. Rarely does a store even carry items that have not been tested on animals or used animal fats in their products. Because stores don't carry non-animal tested products everyone is in a way forced to buy those products, knowing most I don't think it is an ideal idea for a person to drive two towns over for a hair spray that has not been tested on animals.Try this for an experiment. Go to your bathroom or kitchen and pull out 4 or 5 cosmetic items. Now look on the back label, if any of the products are produced by johnson and johnson,L'oreal,cover girl, dawn,Ivory,Dove,MAC, or Procter and gamble (this is a bad one) to name a few they are animal tested. Chances are if you have an item that is manufactured by none of the above than it is probably animal tested too. Crazy right, even the companied you thought were good, that were against animal cruelty are performing the cruel tests. We need to get control of this situation. First of all try to avoid the animal tested products, I know it is difficult but take it slowly and have a list of good and bad products with you at all times while shopping, second of all try to get your grocery store and local pharmacies to carry non-aniimal tested products, and third PROTEST AGAINST ANY COMPANY THAT PERFORMS ANY KIND OF ANIMAL TEST, it makes all the difference.
