Please join our community efforts to stop this project. The proposed 7-eleven convenience store and gas station will be across the street from Thousand Oaks High School and adjacent to many homes. It will be open 24 hours to sell cigarettes, alcohol, etc and will attract a crowd that is undesirable for our quiet neighborhood. This corner already experiences high traffic, student drivers and students using the crosswalks. The adjacent neighborhoods already experience overflow school parking, trash and loitering. Matt Chang, City of Thousand Oaks Associate Planner, has requested that I update everyone on the hearing date. It has been postponed from today, 10/22/18 to sometime in November. I will update everyone when I receive the new hearing date.
