Traffic Signs to Warn Drivers of Disabled Children

This petition is designated to having rural communities of Maine post traffic signs in both lanes of traffic within 500 - 1000 feet of a home in which disabled children live. Some childhood disabilities have classic characteristics of wandering, running, and being unaware of dangerous situations such as traffic. These signs would warn drivers to slow down and be more alert of the possibility of a child darting into the roadways.
