Close down Asante/Woodlans City Apartments!

Asante Apartment Home, formerly known as Woodland City, located on Jim Miller Rd and Loop 12 has some major issues that cannot go uncorrected any longer!
As residents, we are forced to deal with an uncontrollable roach infestation; and that's just the beginning! The units are filled with mold. The air conditioning/heaters never work for longer than a week at a time before the "lines burst". The management does nothing to keep up with continuous maintenance issues such as plumbing, structural damage, etc.
More than half of the units in the complex are vacant (which draws in undesirable activity) and most are filled with trash left behind by previous tenants (which can lead to serious health hazards).
The complex is over run by violent criminal activity, and is a dangerous place to live.
We deserve better! Being "low income" shouldn't mean we have to settle for these kind of living situations!
