Demand your privacy back from neighbouring surviellance cameras

Currently there is no law In Australia against home security cameras in one property being able to see into a neighbour's yard, and many of these cameras people set up to monitor their own driveways can film up to 100 metres flowing down their driveway and onto public roads, where school children are not free to walk home without being monitored by a strangers home security cameras. Not all sex offenders are registered. We need a law to protect us and our children s privacy, especially in our front and back yards so small children are free to swim in their pools or play without being monitored by our surrounding neighbour's security cameras. We should be free to drive in and out our own driveways, to and from our homes without  neighbouring cameras monitoring when we leave our home and when we arrive home, how easy would it be for someone in a neighbouring house to rob us. Please bring in a law that is fair to all of us. People with home security cameras can film their own property but no one else's and should not film public roads or footpaths. Camera's up our asses aren't the default, this isn't how it should be. Privacy is a key element for actual freedom. The less privacy we have, the less free we are. Using the "just close the door" argument isn't valid; this puts the responsibility on the victim instead of the perpetrator.
