I think all cops in all states needs training on how to handle dogs instead of just shooting them.

Cops need to be trained on how to handle dogs. The dogs are protecting their property and vechiles. I sometimes walk by a car and a dog barks at me but I just talk to them and keep on going. I don't do anything to them. A Highway came to our house once looking for a dog. He turned his siren on a little bit and we went outside and the guy did not do anything to our dogs. Cops can honk their horns are sirens and let people know they are outside. That state trooper saw us a couple of weeks later and we talked for awhile. There are alot of ways to deal with dogs rather than just shooting them. I know the cops are scared of dogs but they need to remember the dogs are scared of them to. Please train the cops on how to handle our pets.
