Make Veterinary care Accessible to All Pets!

In today's current situation and with our unpredictable future, the world is changing rapidly and unfortunately into a concerning state. This situation is not only causing human life concerns but is also leaving our animals behind. Pets are not being properly cared for due to the recession, difficulty in gaining access to care, and inappropriate information that is found online. This petition is to be submitted to the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association to allow for developement of an Online Veterinary Telemedicine Clinic to provide access to care for pets belonging to people who are unable to get their pet to a physical clinic. These people may be seniors, remotely/rural located, woman with young families, mentally or physically disabled, immunocompromised, sick or quarantined. By allowing for this service to exist, we can increase the number of pets that receive professional care and help when needed.
