Protect Imperiled Species from Overfishing!

"Longline fishing in the Atlantic Ocean kills large numbers of sharks, sea turtles and bluefin tuna. So many bluefin tuna have been snagged in longline vessels that the species has been considered for protection under the Endangered Species Act.
Please end overfishing. Instead of expanding longline fishing, the NMFS should have more stringent quotas. Strong measures that protect spawning grounds and the habitat of the bluefin tuna should also be put in place."
