**When signing this Petition, in the comment section please state the following: 1) Are you a resident of Paris, Kentucky? 2) Do you reside in Bourbon County? 3) Do you own property in Paris, Kentucky? and 4) Are you a registered voter?
The purpose of the subject initiative is to successfully petition the Paris, Kentucky City Council to expand our current alcohol ordinance to include Sunday alcohol sales (package, restaurant, and distillery sales.) Our initiative will focus on the current economic loss the City of Paris suffers each Sunday due to leakage to neighboring cities that allow Sunday sales; including Lexington and Georgetown. We will also focus on the economic benefit similarly situated cities have experienced following the passage of a Sunday Sales Ordinance or Law. We also will provide statistics to overcome potential health and safety concerns with statistics indicating the decrease in arrests, citations, accidents, etc., on Saturdays after Sunday Sales have been enacted.

We, therefore require 3 yes votes (a majority vote), in order for the council to enact a Sunday Sales ordinance.
