Should we feel safe at school? Should School feel like a safe place to go and learn? At school I do not feel safe. I am 15 and I am in 10th Grade. Now PLEASE do not turn away from this just because I am young. I want people to feel safer in schools. At my school there is always fights, rumors about shooting, guns are at school and tons of drugs. School is not a place for any of those things. Those are the reasons why I am starting this petition.
School shootings are becoming so common that now the only show the major ones on the news. Click the link below to see charts of the number of school shootings. Trust me there is a ton!
Things I want to come out of the petition
1. Metal detectors
2. police officers to have guns on site
3. Police officers at every site
4. locker searches
5. make it harder to get into school
6. security cameras - more - on at all times
7. getting rid of gangs
8. decrease of fights and less preventions of fights
9. mass letters to parents on what is going on in schools
10. less cyber and other forms of bullying.
11. enforce all of the things above
